Broken Beauties

I've been thoroughly enjoying these two 1930's dresses hanging up in my studio.
They are, unfortunately, damaged beyond repair but I am nonetheless hopelessly in love with them.
I've had many a day dream of what the original owner looked like prancing about in them during the depression.

Can't you just imagine the sweet dates or summer picnics these two might've seen?

So here's to the dresses out there that are only fit for vintage-smitten eyes & studio walls!

Hello, 2013!

My darlings, I must tell you that one of my top resolutions for 2013 is to post more on this here blog.
Well, we're a week in already & I'm already running behind. Eeps!
Did I mention one of my resolutions was less procrastinating, too?

A few new shop changes for 2013 include updated shop sections (you can still search by size in the "search in this shop" feature), & the payment option of credit cards/gift cards.

On a not so exciting note :(
USPS is increasing their shipping prices on January 27th.
You can check out the link here for the entire list, but to get an idea, shop shipping prices will go up all around by about 1-5 dollars depending on weight & location.

I am so excited to get to know more of you this year & fill up the shop with pretty vintage.
I can't wait to see what 2013 holds!
